Dulcote history - fascinating site dedicated to bringing the history of Dulcote to life.

|

The Coach house is 200yards away from the Wells to Glastonbury section of the Sustrans National Cycle Network Route 3 of the West Country Way. The Dulcote section is along a disused railway and is a favourite place for quiet walks with the dog and easy cycle rides. |
|

Farmers' market is on in Wells every Wednesday and Saturday - you can walk from the Coach House at Little Fountains in Dulcote! It takes about 20 minutes and the footpath takes you across lovely fields with a great view of the Cathedral and the Bishops Palace on the way.
|

The Geoge Inn, Croscombe - our favourite local pub. Great food and good company. The perfect village pub.

Jill Parkinson's paintings and prints adorn the Coach House walls. She is a local artist. All are for sale should you want to take one home with you! |

The emphasis is on fresh, quality ingredients and many are sourced locally where possible. Open for lunch Wed – Sun; Dinner Tues – Sat.
Delicious food. Definitely worth booking. Read the review in the Guardian.

Goodfellows seafood restaurant and patisserie is situated in the centre of Wells just next to the historic market place. The patisserie bakes a selection of artisan breads, cakes and pastries daily and Adam Fellows runs the fish restaurant with his team and cooks fish and seafood that comes daily from Brixham.

Glebe Farm B&B is another very special place to stay. After you've booked with the Coach House why not have a look at something completely different in Dorset.
Stunning contemporary farmhouse set in the most peaceful location well away from any traffic sound in Dorset's highest village. This is a luxury B&B with lovely rooms and fabulous views. Have a look at their website or find them on the National Trust B&B list.

There are many associations with Chalice Well covering countless centuries; it is a timeless and sacred place, full of legend, symbolism and atmosphere, a place whose history has no beginning.......
Many of the Coach House visitors find the Chalice Well Gardens in Glastonbury a delightful place to spend a few hours. |
